LOCAL, FAMILY-OWNED CANDLE COMPANY IN ST. JOHNS, MICHIGAN
Ever since we founded our store in 2000, we had one goal in mind: ensuring a consistent variety of fantastic items along with unique, limited edition and seasonal merchandise that fit any budget. We’re proud of how far we’ve come, and remain committed to adding more great products to our stock year after year.

Sue and Todd Cory
Already employed, Sue, who was born and raised in St. Johns and working in retail, and Todd, a Grand Ledge graduate who owns a construction business, one might think, why candles? Todd said the candle idea was created because we wanted to start a new company that we could both work on together, enjoy and be creative all at the same time. We appreciate each step in the process from hand pouring candles to designing the labels, marketing, and sales.” Their Mint City U.S.A. candle is their homage to St. Johns and a stand-out favorite candle scent they created while waiting to officially launch in January this year. Candle Scents
The Cory’s are also extremely proud of their latest line that showcases the “Great Lakes.” Each of the five lakes has a particular scent to that region. The duo’s sense of fun shines through with the Wickedly “Unique” line: their almost drinkable scent offerings of delicious Caramel Macchiato to Apple Pie Moonshine. Each candle glass in the “Unique” line is reusable as a drinking glass once the candle has been fully enjoyed. Since their official launch, they now have over 75 scents and offer many types of vessels and wax melts. They use 100% soy wax (no additives) premium fragrance oils, and natural cotton wicks. Other lines include “Salute to Our Troops”, “Wickedly Inked” and “Seasonally” Wicked. The “Seasonally” Wicked line has spring and summer scents, along with a fall and holiday line that follows as the seasons change.
